    Hello!

We are loving using Visits to South & Central America, Australia.  However, my 6th grader isn’t loving Kon-Tiki.  It seems to be a bit too much for him on his own and I didn’t have much success reading it all together with the age range we have.  Is there a different book that might fit that he could read on his own?  Thanks!

Have you read Call It Courage by Armstrong Sperry?  I think it’s along a similar line, but it’s really short (92 pages).  I’m reading it aloud to my kids right now for geography and they are enjoying it (ages 13-17).
