Book recommendation microorganisms?

    Can anyone recommend a really good book on identifying and learning about pond microorganisms? My son is really gotten into his “research”. We have A World in a Drop of Water but looking for one that’s more like a resource book with microscopic pictures. Thanks!

    My kids loved a book called Micro Monsters – Extreme Encounters with Invisible Armies. Not sure how old your guy is. This is probably mid elementary. Lots of great pictures. It rates each organism on agility, speed, intelligence, kinda funny. Its not specific to ponds though and it has some kinda gross and scary parasites.

    Thanks for responding Crystal, sounds like an interesting read!  However, my son is looking for more of a scientific book to help identify all of his finds and also to learn more about them so it probably would be more of a higher level.  Anyone ideas?
