Hello. I was asked why my book of centuries begins by the year 4000 B.C. I never thought about it. What could be the oldest notes in the book of centuries? Maybe the year 3000 B.C. could be sufficient, isn’t it? Sorry for my English and thank you for your answer. Radana
Hi, Radana. Thanks for your question. Since no one knows exactly when the earth was created, it’s hard to put a date at the beginning of the Book of Centuries. We tried to give a little leeway while still adhering to our personal conviction of a young earth.
The Basic Book of Centuries free download starts at 4000 B.C. The more deluxe version for older children, My Book of Centuries, begins with “Creation—3001 B.C.”
It sounds like you might have the Basic Book of Centuries, in which case you could easily remove those first few pages if you would like your book to start at 3000 B.C.
