We are very near to the end of Book 2. Is there a timeline for when Book 3 is coming out? 🤩

Book 3 is moving along in the publication process and we hope to have it available the first half of this year.

I have some ideas on what you can do with your student while you wait for the release of Book 3. You can repeat the same steps as you used for Larger Addition in the hundreds using a dollar in Book 2, but introduce one thousand with a ten-dollar bill (exchanging it for ten one-dollar bills) and progress to doing Larger Addition in the thousands and then Large Subtraction too. That’s where Book 3 begins.

Another option would be to simply continue the multiplication tables for 7 through 10, using the same techniques outlined in Book 2. Those will be covered later in Book 3, but that section can easily be done out of order and then just skip/review that portion when the book comes out. I hope this will help you as you continue using Charlotte’s method.

What do you mean when you say “the first half of this year”?  We are nearing the end of book 2.  Thank you!  🙂

    Hi Regan,

We do not give a publishing release date.  There are many variables in the publication process that may cause unexpected delays.  That said, Book 3 has been written, tested, edited, and tripled checked because we know how frustrating it is to get a math book with incorrect answers.  It is now in the lengthy publication process and should all go well, we hope to have it available the first half of this year.

    Tamara,

Thank you for your response.  Yes, I totally understand you guys don’t give a publishing release date.  I was just trying to clarify that by saying “the first half of this year” you are saying by the end June.  I realize this isn’t guaranteed but just making sure I am understanding your statement.

“First half of this year” is intentionally general. We’re not going to say that we expect it by a certain date such as by the end of June, but the first half of this year is a good estimate. If it helps you to think of it as “end of June” then feel free, but just remember that our release dates change and flex as we work through the publishing process.

Jordan, right, I understand it is just an estimate.  Again, I am not trying to nail down a date.  Just making sure I was understanding what she said when she said “the first half of the year.”  I was assuming that meant between Jan and June you are estimating it could be ready.  I am due with my baby at the end of June and just trying to make a reminder of when to check back with the website.  I have your other two math books and understand how it works as I have waited for the others to come out and those have often been after the “hoped for” time frame.  🙂  I may or may not be able to come to the Teach Them Diligently Convention in Athens, GA this year, depending on how my pregnancy is going.  I always try to purchase from you guys at the convention to support your coming.  Maybe the publication process will run smoothly and it will be there at the booth!  A girl can hope.   Thank you, Jordan.  🙂
