Beyond the Book Report 1 and 2

    I have used Analytical Grammar’s Beyond the Book Report#3 with my oldest student.  I am planning to use Analytical Grammar next year with another child.  Has anyone used BTBR #1 and #2?  I see some value in being sure a child knows concepts such as protagonist, climax, conflict, voice, etc…  However, it doesn’t appear to be truly a CM language arts approach to me.  Any thoughts from those who have done it or looked through it themselves?
