My daughter needs a new, healthy routine to try to ease her bedtime fears of the dark and being alone.  Do you all have any suggestions of totally benign (nothing remotely scary) even uplifting/calming audiobooks?

    Thanks!

We have the Uncle Ricks Audio Bible series (purchased on sale from here http://characterconcepts.com/store/category.php?id_category=97) You can listen to samples.

The kids and I really like them, and are great for anytime, incluiding bedtime.

Both of my little ones are very sensitive to anything remotely scary, and any Thornton Burgess audiobook is always a big hit around here. 🙂 Librivox has a nice selection too!

We love the Jesus Storybook Bible on cd. Our littles have gone to sleep listening to it for years. Thornton Burgess audio books are sweet too.

The Martin and Sylvia Sparkle Stories are nice and calm.  We only have the free ones, but we like them.
