You are most definitely not alone.  But, I just wanted to thank you for posting the question in the first place.  I have been a Flybaby, like I mentioned earlier, for 5 1/2 years and sometimes *fall off the wagon* and can really feel it.  The clutter surrounding me begins to suffocate me and the unplanning of certain things end up not being what I would have liked them to be.

And, now I have been re-inspired!  I am going out right now to do my *Clean car boogie* (flylady thing) and have been using my timer again.  The flylady says *You can do anything 15 minutes at a time*.  My timer is gives me permission to start and stop a task and know that I have given *it* 15 minutes of my time and can see the benefits immediately.

God Bless all of you who are willing to share your successes, as well as challenges, to encourage a group of women that I’m assuming you/we don’t even know outside of this forum:)

I can totally relate to you moms whose husbands are gone long hours.  Mine works 2 fulltime jobs.  His first is a firefighter and he is gone 24 hours and home 48hours every week the days rotate.  During his off days he picks up shifts in the ER, which often ends up night shifts.      What helped me the most is scheduling and planning.  Also, our house is not spotless anymore.  I had to let that go, it is still clean just not spotless. I used to steam clean all the carpets once a week and soak the blinds once a week too.  We have the old wooden blinds that turn dingy.  I require more chores from my boys now too, as I need help.  The 3rd child really threw me for a loop, it was so much harder than going from one to two.  I feel like Winter is so much harder, during warmer months I send my boys outside all day and we are not all cooped up together indoors.  They are louder during the winter with pent-up energy.

Mrs Jamie South, please thank your husband for his fire fighting work – they do a wonderful jo, like our police and military.  I am grateful for his choice of career, may God bless him always.

WOW! Thank you so very much all of you for sharing so many useful tips, web links, etc. Some of them I’ve used before and am glad to be reminded of, others are new, …….so I’ll pray and set to work getting organised!  Thanks!
