    We watched four different DVDs with this play, and our favorites were the Shakespeare Globe Theatre 2009 production put out by Opus Arte (live performance) and the 2007 movie directed by Kenneth Branagh (movie style).

    I highly recommend the “Shakespeare in Three Steps” guides put out by SCM!!  We have studied A Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It, The Comedy of Errors, and The Taming of the Shrew, and plan to use a new one each year until we are done schooling or out of guides 🙂
