I was wondering if any of you have used artpacs (Art with a purpose) before?  My kids love doing crafts and art and to my shame that is an area that is so easily pushed to the side if I’m “running out of time” or am low on energy.  These little books seem like they might be easy enough to follow and fill a need.  But then again, I could probably do this on my own if I were more proactive about it.  I was thinking of Artpac 1 for my son who is 6 1/2 and Artpac 3 for my daughter who is almost 8 1/2.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I hope all of you are enjoying your summer.  On a side note, I’m helping with VBS in the 3 year old room at church and I am exhausted!  Who knew 16 little kids would make me need to take a nap almost every afternoon!  Smile

    Blessings to all,

    Hi Tanya,

I don’t know about the Art Pac. I know I bought it once and didn’t use it, for whatever that’s worth.

I have used and liked Artistic Pursuits. That may be one thing to look into.

Hi i have used the artpacs 1-3 and they are great fun for the kiddos(used artpac 1 for DD gr 2 and artpac 2 for grade 3, and artpac 3 for grade 6 with a 10yr old),, I used them the last 2 years.
We just did 1 to 2 lessons a week (whatever we had time for) and they loved it cause im not that artsy! So it at least made ME plan it and therefore DO it,,or they wouldnt have had an art type class…And this helped them get ideas to do other similar items on there own paper (drawing and cutting stuff) on there own time… I hope this helped. Blessings, billiejo
