My son has to take music and/or arts in high school. He is in 8th grade this year but I am planning for next year. He plays guitar so that will help but I want something to really draw his interest. He enjoys drawing and has taken art at a co-op in the past. Any suggestions for the high school years?
totheskydearParticipantThe Alveary has art lessons that you can buy without having to register for the full curriculum.
Bestowing the Brush also has a brush drawing (watercolor), charcoal, and clay modeling course.
ErinDParticipantI’ve had my eye on Draw Squad for my high schooler if he wants to do drawing as an elective next year. It looks easy to follow and straight-forward.
Mimikitty85ParticipantHi Rhonda,
I highly recommend a drawing teacher that we have used. He teaches drawing and cartooning. If you want his email address, PM me and I’ll give it to you.

rhondajennings68ParticipantKitty – I don’t see an option to private message. Maybe I am missing something.
Mimikitty85ParticipantHi Rhonda,
I realize that I can’t find it either! Is your username the same as for your email address, perhaps with Gmail?
Kitty
rhondajennings68ParticipantNo, my email is my first name @ my full name.com
