Apologia World View series–anyone using?

    Has anyone used or Is anyone using Apologia’s “Who is God?”  World view curriculum?  It looks really good.  I am wondering about using it for my boys age 7 and 11.  CBD has a 33% off sale this month and I’d like to have an opinion on it.  Also, opinions on the notebook that goes with it?

    We have really liked it.  My little ones that I’ve used it with were 5 and 9.

    Yes, Yes, Yes!  We love it!  I am using it with a 6 and 9 year old and we are still only on the first lesson and have had many wonderful conversations already!  I paid full price and it was worth every penny.  I wouldn’t hesitate if I were you!

    Excellent!  How often do you schedule it during the week and how long does it take you to get through a lesson?  My boys are 7 and 10.  How long do you plan to take to finish the whole curriculum?

    I have it scheduled for 32 weeks at 3 days per week…averaging about 3 weeks per lesson.  It takes about 5-10 minutes for each lesson but then there is always discussion.  We also use this for our scripture memory.  If you purchase the book and have trouble breaking it down into doable lessons pm me and I can send you my lesson breakdown!

    @Heather,

    Did you purchase anything other than the book??  Coloring pages, notebook, audio CD….??  It looks good and I may purchase it.

    No, I thought about it, but because of the budget I passed on the extras.  I have a 5 year old who listens in and I sort of wish I had the coloring book for her.  They have free notebooking pages on the website with a password you get when you purchase the book so we downloaded that, but haven’t utilized it yet.

    Yes, we will be using the Who is God? and Who am I? books this coming year with ages 10, 7, 4. I bought the coloring books, but not the notebooking journals.
