I appreciate your patience with me as I figure all this out π
I am confused about the forms in my Planning Your CM Education ebook…..I know that I can print more from my downloaded book, but how do I type on them? For example, the Weekly Worksheet and Daily Schedule does not have enough room to write everything I need to write per subject. Am I suppose to use these as a guide and type my own sheets in Word or another program? How do I use these plan sheets properly?
Thanks again,
Amanda
Sonya ShaferModeratorThe .pdf files of forms are designed to print and write on. They aren’t the kind that you can type in . . . yet. We’re hoping to make that available in the future. I would say, if the spaces aren’t big enough to write everything in, go ahead and create your own chart in Word.
Oh! One thought just came to mind: When I used those worksheets, I put only the subject names in the slots. I don’t use them to spell out exactly what we’re doing every day. Is that what you’re trying to fit into the spaces?
amandajhilburnParticipantYes…and I can fit all the subject names in the weekly sheets, but it’s the daily ones that I am trying to figure out. (that is what I meant π
Like on page 83 in the planning book where you show how to plug in each childs daily schedule and the family work time. How do you make a sheet like that? On Word??
Sonya ShaferModeratorI type in the column words with tabs in between and a return at the end of each row, then select “Convert text to table” (I think that’s what the command is. I’ve switched to Pages software the last year, so I haven’t seen Word for a little while now.). That will give three columns. Then you can use the “Merge cells” command to merge the two into a single cell, like “Breakfast” is.
Clear as mud?
amandajhilburnParticipantHehehehe! Yes, clear as mud π I’ll figure it out.
