    Does anyone have a review of this series? It’s marketed as CM, and does seem more narrative than a normal textbook BUT I’m not sure it’s really a living book.

    We use World’s Story as a spine, and like the conversational tone.

    The only criticism I have heard is that it is a retelling of history. I don’t understand that. Aren’t all spines? Please share if you have an explanation.

    I use the older editions. The Masterbooks editions are more traditional. The whole thing is CM inspired vs. pure CM.
