We need a different program for Algebra I.  We’ve been using MUS at many levels and for most of my kids, it’s working great, but my dyslexic son needs something else for Algebra I.  We’ve been spinning our wheels with the same concept for weeks and weeks.  I’ve taught it every which way I can think of, and we’re just stuck.  Ok, he’s stuck; i understand it just fine.  He’d do best with something more concrete.  I’m leaning towards Jacob’s, but I’m open to other suggestions.  Any?

Video Text is awesome! Expensive, but it is more than one year course.

Our eldest daughter enjoyed Jacob’s.  Our youngest son will likely use TT.  Very different approaches in my mind.  If you need a
“teacher” to come alongside for Jacob’s, Dr. Callahan is very helpful.

My son has dyslexia and is doing well with Life of Fred Algebra.

Also, purple math is an online site for algebra students, and it helped my daughter when she was stuck and needing a different explanation.
