I really want to help my children become thinkers.  I find that they are not always connecting the dots on their own or only giving me basic narrations.  And I must admit I sometimes really like the discussion questions in the upper level Beautiful Feet and Sonlight guides.  How can I stick with the SCM history guides but nudge my older kids to really think?  What types of questions can I ask?  What does this look like in your home?

You may find our blog article, Raising the Bar (Narration Q & A, part 15) helpful. Sonya explains how Charlotte Mason asked for different types of narrations from her students according to their grade levels. In that article, you will also find some example questions for each type of narration Charlotte required of her students.

That is quite helpful.  Any idea if there are already narration questions floating around that go with the 6th SCM history guide?
