In your opinion, would this do for a 7th grader?

Are you talking about the Holy Lands one?  I have the Holy Lands to use for this coming school year, and I believe my 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys are going to really enjoy it.  I’m not so sure (from what I can see from the sample) about the first geography book.  It seemed a little young, but it might be different if I had the whole book in my hand to look at.

    Blessings,

I hate to be very unpopular as I know many love these, but to me the tone was gratingly juvenile for my 8yo.  I would think it would drive a 12yo batty, but that’s  JMHO.  🙂

We are using this right now…but I’d say 3rd-4th grade is the “optimal” time for this book. Unless you were doing it with multiple age groups and could possibly “beef up” his assignments, etc.

By the way, we LOVE this resource…just throwing that in there. It is very good!! I just don’t think it is intended for the older crowd.
