Twaddle

Thanks to everyone who submitted their definitions of “twaddle” on last week’s post! If you haven’t read the definitions yet, we encourage you to do so soon.

One of the reasons we wanted to discuss twaddle was to help us all learn how to evaluate the books, DVDs, and other resources that we come across. It’s easy to just ask someone else, “Is this twaddle?” But it is more helpful to you and your family if you can develop the skill of analyzing each resource for yourself. Reading the definitions will give you a wonderful foundation on which to develop that skill.

New Series Coming Up: The Early Years

In a couple of weeks, we will start a new series in these e-mails: The Early Years. Join us for a look at Charlotte’s counsel for educating children under the age of six. If you know any mothers of preschoolers who would enjoy this series, feel free to let them know about it. They can sign up to have the e-mails delivered directly to them. We’re looking forward to exploring the preschool years with you!
