Well, I almost have my voice back. Those of you who were at the Georgia homeschool convention (GHEA) this past weekend know what I’m talking about. We had a great time chatting with the hundreds of people who stopped by the Simply Charlotte Mason booth!

Our workshop, Charlotte Mason and Her Methods, ended up standing room only. How wonderful to see so many people interested in the Charlotte Mason method!

And, of course, it’s always nice to connect names with faces. We’ll be posting photos from the conventions on our SCM Facebook page so you can enjoy some of those faces too. (And by the way, our Facebook page and Twitter feed are great ways to stay up to date with our latest posts and activities.)

Romans Bible Study

We’re happy to announce that the Romans Bible study recommended as part of the new Matthew through Acts & Ancient Rome handbook is at the printer’s and expected any day now. Watch for Foundations in Romans, an inductive Bible study for grades 7–12, next week!

Homeschooling Methods Series

A huge part of our goal with these e-mails is to explain more about the Charlotte Mason method. Our next series will look at five basic approaches to homeschooling. We’ll focus on how Charlotte Mason compares to the other four approaches: traditional, unit studies, unschooling, and classical.

If you know of a friend who would be interested in this upcoming series, pass the word along. We’ll start the new series in just a couple of weeks.
