I Am, I Can, I Ought, I Will Calendar Journal

I Am, I Can, I Ought, I Will: Charlotte Mason Calendar Journal

We hope you’ve enjoyed this series on Charlotte Mason’s motto for students. There is much more to ponder, much more to consider and do to help our children realize the potential in those four powerful phrases: I am, I can, I ought, I will.

So we’re happy to announce that our new Charlotte Mason personal calendar journal is just back from the printer with even more articles on the student motto. Now you can have twelve months of I am, I can, I ought, I will encouragement in a beautiful keepsake, along with spacious calendars, places for prayer requests and gentle reminders, plenty of inspiring quotes, and lots of room to write! This calendar journal is now out of print.

Our new calendar is designed to walk through the year with you, motivating and helping, as you

  • disciple your child as a whole person,
  • help your child learn to think for himself,
  • encourage your child to do hard things,
  • cultivate your child’s conscience to embrace what is right,
  • nurture your child to be the best he can be!

This popular calendar journal is available in a School Year version (August 2011–July 2012) or a Calendar Year version (January–December 2012) with handy divider tabs to help you locate the months quickly.

  1. The journal looks lovely. I am very interested in a possible printable version. The idea of storing it in a zippered binder with my pen right inside with the pages is very appealing to this busy mom.
I am new to your website as well as to Charlotte Mason. I heard of her 13 years ago when I began homeschooling but never really studied her methods very closely. I decided to study every book I could grasp (I’m not done yet) for a summer project and I have found home. I love this lady, she is simply inspiring! Thank you for all you do here at Simply Charlotte Mason.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words. I’ll make sure Sonya sees your comment too.

Regarding a downloadable/printable version, please download the free sample and try printing it or using it as you would the full calendar. You get the entire month of August in that sample. Then use our contact form to tell us how that worked out for you. Our decision to release a downloadable version will be based on the feedback we receive from those who have worked with the sample.

      • You’re welcome and thanks so much for the sample month, I will surely let you know, but I’m sure I will love it. : )
