What should she be narrating?

I have an 8 year old and a almost 5 year old. My 5 year old listens in to all of our subjects and has already begun to narrate some. My question is what books do I have my almost 8 year old narrate? All of them? I type out her narrations because she likes to go back at the end of the year and look over them. Right now we are reading Apologia’s Botany which she does the notebooking narrations so no extra narrations there. Right now she is narrating her literature book we have going and the scriptures and grade 1-3 books read in Bible/History/Geography. Is this all she should be narrating? What about the biographies we read in poetry, artist and composer study? In literature and B/H/G I let her alternate between written narration and drawing her narration. Do you think this is okay for an almost 9 year old? I’d love your opinion!

I have my kiddos narrate either orally, written, or drawing for all the compsers, artists, and poets as well.  We narrate do scriptures, literature, science, B/H/G, Shakespeare, sometimes math.  Almost everything!  My oldest are 11 and 10.
