A basic question - Is it considered in line with Charlotte's philosophy to use parts of living (any subject here) or text type books (specifically I am thinking of Chemistry here) instead of the whole book sometimes? Can anyone share their experiences?
Using a chapter or part of a book ... ok??

I think it can work very well...
I plan to use one chapter of a U.S. History book about Columbus before moving into the Canadian History books I plan to use...

Yes, and I know I've read that Charlotte did this in her schools. We've done it with certain books with no trouble.

MemberWe do this, too, with some books, especially history spines. Works great here so far.
