The Shires book by CM?

    While perusing amazon this morning, a bunny trail led me to a title called, The Twelve Shires or something like that. Says it’s by Charlotte Mason. Anyone have any experience with that book? What is it?

    The Forty Shires. I have the book but it’s often checked out so I haven’t read it. A travel book, sort of, telling of the shires of England.

    You’re right, Robin.  It is The Forty Shires.  It is mentioned in The Living Page book as well.  I love anything English Countryside.  I hope someday to fulfill a dream to go there and spend time wandering the Lake District and many other areas.  Maybe I would like this book.  I will look for it.  Thanks.
