Would it be worthwhile purchasing the Early Years Handbook if I already have Laying Down the Rails? I've wanted to purchase it for a few years now but have kept putting it off. My little ones are between infant and five years.

Yes, absolutely. I'd highly reccommend it. It touches some on some of the major habits, but the vast majority of it is other material (academics, nature study/outdoor life, spiritual life, etc) that will specifically apply to little ones the ages of yours. This book was extremely helpful to me as I was starting out and I highly reccommend it to all moms of little ones. =)
