    Anyone have a recipe for a healthy, grain-free, sugar-free, red dye-free red velvet cake???

    I’m not asking for much, am I?

    Oh, no, Lindsey….you know the Word says you have not because you ask not….Wink

    Lindsey…I know you can use beet juice instead of the red dye.  In fact, that is how the cake originated, if I remember correctly.  Not sure on the other fronts…maybe you could find a coconut flour cake recipe, dye with beet juice (sub for some of the liquid), and do a stevia-cream-cheese frosting??? Let me know if you figure it out!

    Me again…I knew I had seen a coconut flour cake recipe I’d been wanting to try, so I went looking for it.  It looks amazing.  Here it is: http://nourishedkitchen.com/coconut-flour-cake/.  I don’t think it’d be too hard to add some beet juice for color and change the frosting!  Good luck!
