Hi – I came across AO and HOE schedules yahoo group recently, and in it there are lists made to enable someone atarting AO with an older child to be ready to start yr7 HoE, and not miss out on all the history and what not from the earlier years by starting say on yr3 or 4 or 5. The lists and termly shedules were labeled pre3 (a selection of the best of AO yrs 1+2) pre 5 (a selection of the best from AO yrs 3 + 4) and pre 7 ( You get the idea) … Has anyone done this? My nearly ten year old and 11 year old are about to start AO having come out of PS (I have posted else where about placing them) I was going to just start them say in yr 3 or 4 but  now I have found these lists wonder if it is a good idea? Has anyone done this? It would mean doing pre3, pre5, and pre7 for the next 3 years, and then joining HoE yr7. Advise / experiences with this any one? what is better? to do this set of pre yrs or just start at the ‘proper’ AO year suitable for them – even if it means older son is leaving school having only done up to say – yr8?

the link if you would like to see it is here: but you need to join the group (which takes seconds and you can imediately view the files then)

or if you get in the group look under AO schedules and you’ll find them.

    Many thanks in advance

SORRY!!!!!!! I had AO forum open at the same time as scm forum and have just posted the above question by accident on this forum instead of AO.

Haha. Aw Jo. Nevermind. I have no advice as mine are still preschool, but just wanted to say the three tabs constantly open on my laptop are SCM forum, AO forum and my email! 🙂
