I’m glad to hear you all are doing so well. Your boys are adorable! Makes me miss when my nephews were that little!

This week was our first week and it went well. Kelsey read a few of Aesop’s Fables, and started (and fell in love with) Understood Betsy. I loved seeing her so excited about the book! I asked her what she thought/liked about it so far, and one of her comments about why Betsy was like her is “Doesn’t Kelsey kind of sound like Betsy?” Then she made me call her Betsy the rest of the day! 😉  MUS is going well so far, but it’s mostly review of concepts she understands so far. We’re going slowly and making sure she really grasps everything.  She started dance class, and is already excited to go back.  We took a bike ride through a nature park–and got caught in the rain! (Thanks Isaac!).  I’m loving my new job as a copy-writer. It’s liberating and exciting to be back to doing something I love and to be able to work from home alongside my girl while doing it is just double the blessings!

Tomorrow and Monday we’ll be spending lots of time with my sister, brother-in-law, and nephews for Labor day, then we start a flurry of doctor’s appointments (Getting her hearing aids Tuesday!! 🙂 )

@Carolyn – It looks like your boys had a great time with those sprinklers. I often forget to do the simple things like turning the hose on. Tongue out

@Kate Mom of 1 – It sounds like our daughters are very much alike, my daughter has added 6 names to her’s now. Everytime she falls in love with a character their name gets added. I’m so glad your blessed by being able to work at something you love and stay at home. Laughing

@sheraz – Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is one of my all-time favorite movies! I saw this movie when I was a kid and it helped shape my ideas about courtship and how I wanted to be treated by a man. I’m going to look for this on Netflix and re-watch it. Thanks for reminding me. Smile

@Kate – So glad your dd will be getting her hearing aids this week!  My boys would love to be caught in a rain storm.

@sheraz – We are doing Outdoor Secrets and I agree the living books just stand out!  When we get home from the library and I read the “other books” the kids picked out, they scream twaddle.

@Charlene – Love the bible bingo, thanks for the link!

It’s looks like everyone is having fun! My kids are a bit older than all of you that have posted so far, but we still like to have fun. Since I didn’t get started with my blog right away, there isn’t just one for this week. You’re welcome to look through more than one post. My goal now is to do one a week. Hopefully, I can stick with that.
