Pinterest Charlotte Mason Board

Does anyone have a Charlotte Mason board on Pinterest?  I’ve been doing a lot of research lately and found this to be an excellent way to organize my information.  I would love to take a peak at your board.

For those who aren’t familiar with Pinterest, it is basically a visual way to organize your bookmarks.  Instead of putting them on your bookmark tab, you “pin” them on a virtual bulletin board.

I don’t have my schooling stuff on pintrest, but I love pintrest.  We’re in the middle of what will be a VERY LONG home renovation, so I have tons of ideas and inspirations there.

Mine are divided by subject and/or age (with quite a few non-homeschool boards too).

TY, Christie.  I started out with general groups and then found that I was hunting through them and taking much longer than I wanted.  The organization does help, but I still find that I’m hunting for a while sometimes… of course part of that is stumbling across another pin that would work for something else, etc.

I looked at Pinterest awhile ago and decided not to do anything with it for two reasons: 1) I feel as though I spend too much time on the internet as it is, and 2) I don’t have a Facebook account & don’t want one (see reason #1).

However, as I’m hearing you all talk about what a nice tool it is for organizing your online interests and information links, I’m reconsidering….I still am not sure I want a Facebook account, but I thought I heard that you can now register without a Facebook account. Is that so?

Okay, I just created a Pinterest account….but now I can’t do anything but create a board I’m not ready to create, or follow boards I don’t want to follow! I’m sure there is a learning curve on this….but it keeps asking me to do things under the guise of “orientation” and I don’t quite get this!
