   Does anyone use the Pathway Readers Workbooks and Teachers Manuals?

   Are the helpful or should I just focus on the reading?  I will have a PreK/K and 1st grader

   Dear Pangit;  We are using pathway readers for the first time this year.  My oldest is in First grade and she loves the stories.  We also use the workbook and teacher manual.  THe teacher manual has supplementary excersices to do besides the work book pages.  My daughter groans at some of it but I think they are good.  She is in More Days Go By currently.  I started my Kindergarten son in Before We Read work book and alot of it seems to easy but I guess it lays a good foundation and it ensures that I haven't missed anything:)   My son says he would like to continue with the stories next year as his sister is doing this year so I don't have to worry about spending more $ for other stuff.  I also like that they are all so low priced!

   I love the books, but do not use the workbooks or teacher manual. I do not think they are necessary.
