   Hello, I know this topic has been talked about alot lately, but I am wanting/needing to start Module 1 and I can't seem to get this book anywhere! I can find it at Amazon.com for 50-75.00 I am wandering should I just go ahead and pay the price because I have three children that will all use it or should I wait? Also, how do you go about ordering from overseas? Is it safe? How long does it usually take to get your books and is it wise to order from another country. Thanks so much for your help! I am starting to get discouraged about having to keep putting off our history study because of this book!

   I'm on an Air Force base in Japan, and our library has it. Have you checked to see if your local library can maybe order it or find it somewhere for you?

   Are you overeas yourself, or are you trying to order it from an overseas website?

   Try looking for Oxford Children's First Ancient History.  I got this last fall.  It was easier to find and less expensive.  I think that you can also find four different books that altogether make up the Oxford Children's First Ancient History.  Do a search on here, someone had posted about it last fall when I was looking for the book.

   I hope you find it and it is affordable!!

   I have ordered through Amazon from the UK and Abebooks from the UK and had no trouble.  If possible I always use paypal, but a couple times I have used my debit card.  I have not had any problems.  Just make sure that the price is converted to your currency so you know what you are paying.

   Try looking at bookfinder.com, it will compare multiple sites for you and list them by price (lowest first) including the shipping.

   If you are going to be using the book for three years (if you do all the modules you will), I didn't think that the price was too much, because you divide the book up for three years and then the cost averages more like $10-$15 year for a "spine", which I thought was reasonable.  Cost goes less if you are using it for two rotations, which makes it become a 6 year spine.  We have ordered other things from overseas and had no problems.   I personally thought it was worth buying, plus it reduced my stress levels of "waiting" too.  HTH  =)
