   There are just so many good choices of CM materials! That is good and hard at the same time :( It overwhelms me. I don't want to miss anything. How do you get through it?????

   Pray, hold your breath, pick something, and go! You will find more of what you like and don't as you go along. As you're looking, keep in mind that many products have samples online to help you choose. SCM has fantastic recommendations in their curriculum guide that you can't go wrong with if those appeal to you.

   Yes, it's a challenge!!!  That's part of what I've come to appreciate about SCM.  It's not overwhelming, so it gives me freedom to add a few other things and not overload:)  Gina

   This is my first time using SCM and I like it because I could only follow the guide and buy the materials they suggested.  I had the same feeling as well when I first looked up the guide, but after discussed with those moms here, I had much clear ideas.  Don't forget to chat with other moms before you purchase anything.

   Well, to put it into perspective, I considered myself an avid reader while growing up, and even though I am rereading many old favorites with my children, I am surprised at the number of quality books I encounter that were written before I was born and yet I never read them until now!

   Whatever you pick, just know that you can't read everything that is a good living book. If your children are learning and you all enjoy most of what you choose, you're doing fine.
