If anyone else likes notebooking with their children you might want to check out Notebooking Pages’ Treasury. It’s on sale right now for a 1 year membership for 25% off (total will be $56.21). You get every notebook page they have plus new ones every month. The best part is you have access to those forever, even if you don’t renew your membership in a year (though renewals are about $30.00). They’ve just announced that come June you’ll also have access to a notebook page creator with that membership. I just got our Treasury Membership and am excited to have so many options for my kiddos!

    Oh, the page is here:

And I’m not an affiliate with them or anything, just like their products. 😉

Do you feel you use it enough to justify the expense?? Just curious…I’m hoping to purchase while it’s on sale, but just not sure. Sheraz says she loves their products, too.

    Thanks in advance.

We really are using it! Besides the notebooking pages there are sets for timelines (book of centuries!), and in some of the sets you find coloring pages too. Some of the sets with coloring pages include birds and flowers sets, sports, transportation, and animals. I plan to use the sports notebooking pages in July/Aug as we watch the Olympics, so my littlest ones can use the coloring pages while older ones will draw their own pictures and use the notebooking pages with spaces for writing and drawing.

There is a demo video now for the new web application that they’re releasing next month that allows you to create your own notebook pages. It is included in the membership and this will be great too. You can use any photo, clipart, or pictures in the templates, kids can type right into the templates instead of writing by hand, or you can create a page from scratch adding lines and boxes or pictures anywhere you wish. I’ll be making a set of physics notebook pages to go with Christian Kids Explore Physics for my kids science next year, and a set of pages for the people, places, and events of our church history to go with the history curriculum I’m in the process of writing right now.

And when you really break down the expense of the sale price ($56.21) over being able to use the notebook pages for all your children for all their years of schooling (for me that’s 7×12!) I’m paying pennies per child. Being able to have access to these files forever is really appealing, I don’t have to renew my membership every year for that.

If you have any other questions be sure to just ask me!

Oh, and I AM and affiliate now, having used the products a bit and discovered I really love them it was worth it to me to promote them. My affiliate link is: http://notebookingpages.com/dap/a/?a=5853 so if you do decide their product is right for you I’d love it if you click through my link when you’re ready to make your purchase!

Just bought through you! I enjoy notebooking and this is a great deal. Thanks Tristan!

looks great! I have used some of notebooking pages.  However, I am wondering what the catch is??? 🙂

Let me get this straight…   I purchase a membership and I get to use it forever?     Or after my first year of membership I only get to use the stuff I made up?    Or I get to use a limited area after my membership is up?  Or I don’t get to access something the membership offers?

Is this truly a one time membership fee?  I am curious if there is a catch after the membership is over or if there going to make it available to access after you pay it once???  🙂

Please let me know because it does sound good… I am just sceptical.   🙂

       Thanks!

    Thanks Tristan.

This is one of those things that I need to buy since I hate searching the web for notebooking pages, even if they are free. And, I know my dc would really like the interesting pages for narrations instead of the blank paper. Not that there’s anything wrong with the blank paper, of course, but I think they would like the many styles she has to make is seem more special.

    Thanks again.

Chocodog – The initial membership fee  ($74.95, on sale for less, I think about $54.95, for today and tomorrow) gives you access to everything that she has done for the last six years, plus access to all that she adds this year, including the new app. You maintain access to all these pages forever, once you allow your membership to expire.  You will not be allowed to have access to any new members-only pages she adds AFTER your membership expires.

In order to have access to everything all the time, there is a yearly fee of $29.95 that you can choose pay once a year when your first year is over.

I paid the initial fee and used it for over a year.  I didn’t have the money to re-new when my year was up, but still had access to everything I did before.  No problems.

Then she started adding all the geography pages and other cool things, so I re-newed my membership about 3 months later for the $29.95.  Simple.  I then had access to all of the new pages in the treasury and we have been using them. =)

    Does this help?

    Great explanation Sheraz!

    Chocodog,

she’s right. You’ll always have access to any pages have were in the treasury by the last day of your membership (all her products plus the new ones she adds every few weeks). You can just log in to your account and it will have them there to print or download. And as Sheraz mentioned, renewals are about $30 if she comes out with any wonderful sets you want down the road or if you really like using the web app Notebooking Publisher that is released next month to make custom notebook pages.

my3boys – that’s just what I’m learning, my kids love the special details of her notebook pages and I love that they are ‘classic’, my 7 year old can use a page but it’s still appropriate decoration-wise for a high school student’s tastes.

    Sounds good!

To bad I don’t have the $54 today or tommarrow. 🙁

I hope this offer  comes around again. Let me know if it does. I will go threw your site if you just let me know.

                 Thanks!

I think this usually happens each May for their birthday, I’ll let you know if they have another sale again before then. 🙂

Tristan, how do you organize your unused notebooking pages? Do you have them in files, etc.? I know you mentioned letting your kids pick their pages- what do they do with them when they are complete? Put them in a binder, I am guessing? Just trying to get idea of how this works logistically. Thanks!

When pages are finished they go in a hanging file at the moment. We use a ProClick binding machine to put spines on the finished notebooks, but we are waiting until the end of a year to do that part. In the past we’ve just added them to a 3 ring binder too.

Unused notebook pages are organized in two different folders. One is just general pages with no real theme. The other has topics or themes that I know are coming up for us, like Charles Dickens, or themes I know will interest them. I’m also willing to print pages up for a special spur of the moment interest but the child generally has to wait until I get time for that. Each weekend I ask the kids if there are any topics they want pages ready for too, those go into the file with themes.

I also use an over the door hanging organizer that holds file folders.  I use that a print a variety of the pages and stash in there as well – divided by topic like nature study, copywork, etc.  It is available at all times.  I let the kids pick the pages. =)

We have ours in three ring binders, and through out the summer my plan is to pick through the year’s pages and find a nice show of their progress through a subject to make a yearly portfolio.

I really want to buy the membership but still have one question.  So, once I become a member, I have one full year to use all products.  Do I need to renew my membership right after my one-year membership is up?  If not, am I consider as new member and don’t get that $30 renewal amount?  Thanks!
