I’ve already posted a question, but I thought I might introduce myself! 🙂 I have 3 girls, ages 6, 4 and 18 months. Next year will be my first “offical” year homeschooling. We played around with Kindergarten, but I am a beleiver in Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of no formal schooling until the age of 6 or so, so I consider next year to be our first year.
I am been lurking and studying this site for months now and I am so grateful for all the resources provided and all the amazing parents here who take the time to help others!
I have been studying Charlotte Mason’s method since we first decided to homeschool, oh around 5 yrs ago! LOL
I am still designing our curriculum for next year. It has taken me a long time and I am nowhere near done! So I will probably be bombarding y’all with questions! Although this site is very informative and helpful! I hope y’all will be patient with a newbie! LOL Hopefully 2nd grade will not take so much pre-planning and anxiety once I have some experience under my belt!
Thank you to everyone here and to Sonya for this site!
Welcome from someone with 4 baby girls; well, not babies anymore, but 4 girls! We’re glad you’re finding help and encouragement here. And you’re right, just like anything new, it gets easier the more you do it. You’re way ahead of where I was when my girls were that age!
