We've had a few posts about how to organize your bookshelves (which I've really appreciated), but how do you organize them on the computer? I use Delicious Library for the Mac, but you can't download that to your iPod/iPhone anymore. We have so many books that I'm buying things I already have copies of because I can't remember. Is there an easy way to keep track of them on the computer? Or a way to print a list?
I went to the library book sale today and was forever asking my kids, "Do we have this?" I picked up several things that I'm pretty sure I have, but didn't want to pass it up in case I didn't. How do you deal with book sales and book stores or any situation when you're away from your computer? We also have grandparents buying us duplicates of books and I'd like to figure out how to let them know what we have.
Is there a better home library organization solution?
