My third post in as many days? I told y’all I would be bombarding you with questions! LOL

Regarding 106 Days of Creation, is it a one year lesson plan? My oldest will be in first grade. So if it is one year, what do I do for 2nd grade until I use Considering God’s Creation?

I was actually thinking about taking it slow and using 106 Days over the course of 2 school years. Has anyone done so?

I’m planning on using 106 days over 3 years. We’ll do the first 32 days this next year. This will be for my middle four (ages 9, 7, 5, 3). The 9 and 7 will do considering God’s creation with it. I plan on doing one “lesson” a week with lots of extra living books on the subject covered. I just wanted a way to go thru it with lots of living books added without feeling overwhelmed : ).

I used 106 Days this year with 4 yo and 7 yo, we loved it.  This coming year we are doing K and 2nd grade and will be using the Eyes and No Eyes series by Arabella Buckley found on http://www.yesterdaysclassics.com  as living books.  They have a few questions at the end of each story and I am going to supplement with other books and projects along with Nature Study.  I almost bought Apologia but decided after loving 106 Days style so much that we were more living books type people than I realized so I am going to try it this year figuring if this year doesn’t go in depth enough I will look back at Apologia because I do like their books as well.

Thank you so much! I think I know how I am going to use it now!

Rebecca-I don’t want to get overwhelmed either, that is why I want to take it slower and add more living science books, maybe some extra “experiements” pertaining to the lesson!

lgeurink-Thank you for that link! That is an awesome site! I can probably find a couple of books I have been looking for there!
