I am looking at Word of the Week, has anyone saw, used or have any thoughts on it? I thought it would be good for all ages and for copywork for the older ones?
Thanks Misty

Hi Misty, I have seen these at a HS Conference. It has been a while but as I recall the books would be good for vocab and copywork. There are beautiful pics, word, and definition. I can't remember anything else. But really wanted to reply so you could get bumped up! :)
thanks, I was just thinking it might be a nice way to combine everyone.
I've wanted to use these for a while but have a hard time justifying the price. I've seen good reviews of it though. We use Vocabulary Cartoons which I was able to get for super cheap on Amazon. Not the highest quality and the cartoons are a bit goofy, but my boys love it and for now it's working.
That was my thought also, the price.
I finally found a used copy, so I made the leap. I'm not sure if my children are on the younger side for using this, but our first week with it was somewhat humorous. It has a picture of a dock going out over an ocean (or very large lake) The words have been enticing, enchanting, etc. My kids keep saying how they don't think that looks enticing or enchanting. =D We'll just have to see.
LOL
