I was looking for an excercise program and after reading some posts here, I checked out T-Tapp. I really liked the samples but there are so many different DVDs and packages I don't know what to choose.
Would anyone have a recommendation?

Here's an article about getting started with T-tapp:

The Basic Plus is pretty much the one to start with, and it's the one I still use after years of doing T-tapp. If you can afford it the Total Workout would be a great buy - it includes the Basic Plus, but has more so that you can either do a 15 minute workout, or a full hour. The Total does major sculpting of the body. And it looks like for June you get a ton of freebie stuff!
I won a drawing to get half off a purchase years ago when I first learned about T-tapp, so I ordered the Total. The workout I mostly use is the Basic Plus, but I like having the option to do a longer workout, and sometimes I do part of the Total (stopping after Thread The Needle) after doing the Basic.
HTH!
You can also sign up for the e-newsletter..Teresa has special discounts sometimes in those. There is also deep discount Tues? Wed a month. You can also enter to win items too on the home page. I won 2 yrs ago like Rene and got the Total WO for the future.
I use the T-tapp More dvds because I have health problems and more to lose. But anyone can use these! If you visit the forums, blessedmom has been using the MORE all along ..now she combines MORE w/ other dvds. She has lost a lot! If you combine all the 3 workouts from the MORE, it is a total workout. Or do them seperate for a slower paced workout. If you have any health problems or need to lose a little more than most, or it has been a long while since you exercised then MORE is for you!
HTH, have fun!
i'm glad to see this. i got praise moves...which i really like ---kind of bible memory yoga...because i was afraid t-tapp would be too much for me. I have a few health issues including a birthing the 3rd baby injury --tore a muscle in the pelvic floor...they think off the bone...anyway...after birth of 4th doing better...but core is compromised and must go SLOW or else can't walk...literally...and the pain gets to be over the top! So you think the t-tapp is good for people like me...cause I HAVE to strengthen my core to remain healthy for all my babies!

I've just begun T-Tapp MORE and I'm pregnant with #7. I'm trying to become consistent but so far the morning/all day nausea keeps derailing my effort. LOL. I'll get there.
I have a couple of T-Tapp DVD's I'd like to sell. I can't do it. It hurts my knees.
pollysoup...don't suppose you have this MORE one they are talking about?

Can children participate in the Basic Workout? I have two 10 yr. olds that I would like to have participate. What I mean by "can" is; are the directions clear and moves doable for that age?
Thanks,
Rachel
pollysoup,
I sent you a pm.
Rachel,
With the instruction part..yes...not so sure about when you go w/out the instructions. The instuction part is for you to get the moves exactly right as well as your stance. You usually do the instructive part 4-5 times until you get your body and mind acclimated to doing it. So, children should be able to follow along because it is slow and purposeful.
Teresa also has something for kds. I don't know what it is w/out going on the website. She goes to schools to teach them how to do some moves. One n particular called Hoe Downs wakes up the brain so children are more alert esp in the afternoon! HTH!
The thing for kids is called TappCore - it is 9 separate moves that take 3 minutes each (4 - 5 minutes with the instructions). Teresa works out with her dog. :)
I have it (I got it free with her book) and I'm about to start using it with my kids. Blessedmom, from the t-tapp forum, said she has her kids pick 3 moves to do each day.
Hoe Downs are awesome! They are supposed to burn off excess glucose before it's turned into fat and it helps lower blood pressure and clear your mind.

Thanks ladies for your help and now to make that final decision.
