I have been doing a bit of note booking with my 10yo. She is making her own “grammar book” and I am wondering if I could be using this note booking thing for written narration in the other subject successfully.
Do you notebook? Do you use motebookingpages.com, notebookingfairy or the like?
How old are your children and what are they doing it with?
Tecrz1ParticipantI like notebookingpages.com and I own her basic pages and nature study ones. My children are 3rd and 1st and they do one or two notebook pages a week. They choose one thing they have learned and write 1-2 sentences and draw a picture, or they copy a quote from someone we are learning about, or draw a map or something. I help guide and give ideas by they pick. We date and file them all in order in a binder. I view it as “pre- written narration”….not a technical term lol.

sherazParticipantWe are very similiar to Tara in our use. I really like the flexibilty of notebooking as it relates to narration. 😉 My 12 and 11 yo dd like it too.

cedargirlParticipantThank you ladies!
HollySParticipantWe do the same as Tara. I usually have them make a page when we finish a read aloud.
