    Hi there.

My DS is almost 3 and he is a natural reader.  He picks any book and start reading  and makes his own stories.

I have read about CM even before falling pregnant .

I want to ask if there are parents who have introduced this method to toddlers or children under five.

What have been your experience and if you need to give a tip on how to start this, I would appreciate it.

It seems that the kit does not come with magnetic letters so if for a toddler is interesting to put magnetic things on a magnetic board I will do it.

    Thanks for your input.

I started using this with my 4 yr old  a while back and she loves it!

I was planning on putting magnetic backing to the letters but have not gotten around to that just yet.  I was thinking that maybe I could find letters that already had the magnetic backing somehwere like on Rainbow Resources’s website or Timberdoodle.

I just found where you can buy magnetic squares that fit onto the back of letter tiles – I think that they are the right size.

This would be much easier than cutting magnetic strips into squares.

If u go to http://www.rainbowresource.com and search for All About Spelling Magnets for Letter Tiles, you should find it.

    HTH!
