Sheraz gave you the correct info.
I have made resources for things like
violin lessons, swim lessons, concerts, field trips, violin practice, etc. I have varried a bit on how I've organized the divisions for those types of things.... here are some examples...
violin lessons - we do suzuki so the songs are done in order of the book. I would mark an item worked on, until the teacher had them do something for the next song - then I'd mark the one song "done", and mark "worked on" for the new song. (you always are working on all the songs you have learned so far....)
violin practice - I've done several methods, including just not bothering... one that was simple was to have the division of "month" - then mark "worked on" until the last day of the month, and then mark "completed". Doing our 100 day challenges, I have a different one with 100 divisions marked "day". If we miss one, I remove the resource, as they no longer are eligable for the award.
violin concerts - There are several set concerts in our year - so I have divisions set up for each of them - then a few extra that I can move up if they do something extra... (like get asked to play in church....)
field trips - have a few divisions set - and yes, I schedule it on Saturday, then open it up and mark it when we do one.
swim lessons - I have a resource for each level of swimming in their swim program. mark "worked on" until they pass - sometimes there are a LOT of dates showing, as it can take more than a year to pass!
etc.
generally, if you aren't sure on how to do one - ask! we can be pretty creative with ideas on how you might want to record some of these types of things!
