I just recently started looking as this as a possible family devotion. How do you like it now Missceegee? What are the pros and cons? It looks like a great program. All of the rainbow resource and CBD reviews praise it. Thanks, Kalle

It was too much busy work. All kids wanted to return to simply reading scripture, narrating and possibly coloring. Some day I’ll learn we are worksheet types.

Christie, do you mean you are *not* worksheet types? 🙂

We’ve used the program and it is in my “to sell” pile.  I prefer something chronological and without the worksheets and scripted questions.  We are using Long Story Short right now and I love it.

Yes, Servingwithjoy. I meant “not” worksheet types.

The worksheets and length of the program is what I was concerned about.

I was strongly considering BSGFAA, but had doubts about it being a lot of busy work. I was almost ready to make the big purchase when I found Bible Road Trip. http://www.thinkingkidsblog.org/bible-road-trip-the-everything-page/ It is fairly new, and I think she is still writing Year Two as she does it with her children. The curriculum guide and notebook pages are free online, you just have to purchase the resources that you want to use. I just started it this week with ds7 and dd4. I don’t have experience with any other Bible curriculum, but we like it so far. Up until now we have just read through some Bible storybooks and read Leading Little Ones to God as an evening devotional. I thought some of you might be interested, though.
