I wanted to let everyone know that we had our baby girl on Friday (10-8-10) at 7am.
Rhedyn Marie was 7lb 3oz, 20 in! She is doing great and mom is also (other than tired).
Rhedyn makes 7 for us 5 boys and then our 2 girls. Everyone is adjusting well and we're taking it easy this week.
Thanks for all the prayers and love from this group and wanted to share our blessing from God.

Her name is Rhedyn (sounded out like Ray-den). It means "fern" like that plant. Really though it boils down to this. Me and the man of the house couldn't find a name that we both just loved. But we both liked the sound of this one. All our children have Irish names and then the middle is a grandma/pa or great grandma/pa name.
He didn't like the spelling of it and I did. I like unusual names and spellings. So.. I won! LOL not really but he agreed and it fits her well. In case you want to know our childrens names are Keegan 12, Darby 11, Tierney 9, Quinlan 6.5, Sorley 4 and Fallon is 20 months.
Sleep what is that?? LOL got a nap yesterday but not today..

A huge Blessed Congrats. Enjoy lots of cuddles and yes rest what you can.Have the children bring your cut up apple - and oranges. Serveral glass of water or a smoothing during the day. Children actually find it enjoyable to serve mom like they would in a restaurant. Especially since they know it is blessing her health after havinga baby and they appreciate family and being a family.
Congrats again and play restaurant at your house for a few days. They can even serve you morning meal to your room while you are with baby.
I did not do this really till the the 8th and 9th and really not to its fullness till the 9th and it was great.
We have 7 boys and 2 girls. :O)
