I have seen posts regarding printing pictures of the artists you have studied for keepsakes for our children, and I followed the link to the Fair Use Guidelines (which I can't find the link now). I skimmed through them and was overwhelmed:) I saw that it mentions a teaching institution, not a personal teacher, and I just wondered if those of you who print from art websites and use these guidelines to have prints made at a store, consider homeschools teaching institutions? Or maybe I'm missing somewhere else in the guidelines where it explains it more thoroughly? Thanks!

I consider myself a teacher and our homeschool is a teaching institution. I usually get copies of what I need when I give them the name of my school or tell them that I am a teacher.

If you are talking about famous paintings and such, wouldn't they be in public domain anyway? Especially for the purpose of non-commercial and educational purposes?
And I agree with Sheraz here. You are a teacher and your homeschool is a teaching institution by the definition you explained. I used to be in editing and am a stickler for fair use, but I think you are fine and within the integrity of the laws.
