I don't have a blog; how about a lengthy post here?
Here's what ds8 (2nd grade) did this week (that I've recorded, anyway):
Bible: 1 Samuel 2, 3, 8; Matthew 18:21-35, 21:1-11; Isaiah 52:13-15; 53
Language Arts: Worked SLOWLY on Romans 10:9 for copywork; 4 poems by Walter de la Mare; Holiday Handwriting School by Robin Pulver; read True Story of the Three Little Pigs (Sciezsca) to me; Literature (I read to him): finished Ralph S. Mouse and began Socks by Beverly Cleary; watched episode 118 of Salsa Spanish
Character: Sermon to the Birds from Children's Book of Virtues; Let's Talk about being a Bad Sport by Joy Berry (not exactly CM but both dc love them)
Geography-Oregon. B is for Beaver; Picture Book of Lewis and Clark (Adler); Picture Book of Sacagawea (Adler); Fourth of July on the Plains (Van Leeuwen)
Fine Arts-Monet and Rossini
Math-worked on multiplication tables, 1s, 2s, and 3s
Here's what I remember that dd4.5 worked on (not doing anything formal):
Built words with letter tiles. Saw some new words this week. She does these on her own. If I try to suggest one, she loses interest.
Played a counting game with Mommy. We can get past 100 if I say the even numbers and she does the odds
Did a lot of scribbling and water color painting. Wrote some words (again, on her own)
Played hopscotch on the carport (had nice weather most of the week)
Listened as I read from our Bible story book, Poems and Prayers for the Very Young, Tops and Bottoms (Janet Stevens), The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza (Simms Taback)-even tried to retell them, May I Bring a Friend, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel. I know there were more, but I can't remember them right now.
Is that what you're looking for?
