There's a Yahoo group, too, that Michelle is quite active on. You might ask there as well for more answers. We have loved the AHYS guides but never seen the AOR in person. I've also emailed questions directly to TQ and they've been most helpful. Good luck in your decision!

I've only used the younger Amer. guides, but I think it would likely be doable. You'd probably just have to read it yourself first, then explain to them. With the younger guides, you could just read it to them directly. But take it with a grain....I haven't seen the AOR guides yet:) I've heard they're pretty weighty and best for upper h.s., but I think could be adapted. Just my .02:) Gina

P.S. I've always found my guides used and resold them, too.

For those of you have used truthquest, I am planning on studying 1800-1865 next year with my kids (5 & 9). I was wondering if I could just buy the Age of Revolution II (1800-1865) instead of the one for young americans. They look similar so I would rather not spend the extra money if I could just use the former in a lighter way. Maybe someone here has had experience with both.

Thanks for any help,
