I keep it pretty simple and have a very loose schedule or order of things like another poster mentioned. If he's not into something, I don't force it - he might want to do it later or we just try again tomorrow, kwim?

No set schedule, though I try to get it done in the AM and maybe then again later afternoon (after naps) before I start on dinner.

I use a 9-pocket page protector with cards she can flip. I need to work on DD2's baskets, but the *plan* is that I rotate things in there each week/day as needed.

Sort of a modified workbox/tray system.

For preschool it usually is whatever we can fit whenever it fits. However, our household does function better if we have a flow to our day. We don't do a time schedule but we do try have the same progression of activities that we move through. We also have a 3rd grader and 2 high schoolers so that makes a difference.

For preschool do you have a set schedule: math, reading, read-alouds, Bible, nature, etc? Or do you just try to fit things in as they come up?

Thanks!
