Depending on the age of your children, you might consider doing a Resurrection Egg Carton as a supplement to your book. It's a quick and simple way to show the events leading up to Easter by opening one egg a day and reading about the meaning of what's inside the chosen egg.

I know Ann Voskamp has one, I think it's a free link at the end of each post if you subscribe to her blog, but it only has 17 readings so might not fit the bill if you are looking for something daily. We've used these weekly readings from John Piper for the last several years: http://www.desiringgod.org/resource-library/articles/lenten-lights But in addition to those and the others mentioned above, I haven't really seen anything else I liked ...so I'm all ears for new ideas also....especially something that actually has daily readings for the whole season of lent (and appropriate for a family of preschool-early elementary age children.)
