Since we just moved to the Northwest and the Fall Salmon Spawn is such a big deal here I thought I would go with it and do a section next year on Salmon. We are doing Outdoor Secrets for the majority of our science next year so I was wondering if any of you have any good ideas for this topic - books, resources, etc. It will be for 2nd grader and I have just used the SCM curriculum this year so I haven't had to do much research on my own determinig good living books and such. Why re-invent a perfectly good wheel right? Thanks for all the hard work SCM team.

Any ideas will help.

Thanks,
