I really like Rick Warrens How To Book on Bible Study methods. You can then study on your own with just a notebook and your Bible any topic you want.

I am working through SCM's Romans study right now and enjoying it! So yes, I'd agree they are good fits for adults too! =)

Yes, any of the SCM Bible Studies would be appropriate for an adult to do as well.

I highly recommend anything by Precept Ministries!  They have a variety of studies depending on how much time you want to spend from 40 min./week to 2 hrs./day.  You can do them solo or in a group setting.  The "Lord" series is great as an intro to Precept studies as it teaches you as you read through the book.  I can't say enough good things about Kay Arthur and Precept Ministries!  I have done multiple studies of various types, and they are all excellent!

I'm looking for a Bible study just for me. I have done several in the past and have the opportunity to join a group but I just can't commit to going out in the evening right now.

I'm looking for more than just devotional readings, as I have one of those, too, which I like, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. This one is more of a daily "encouraging word" type and I'd like a bit more.

On a side note: Would any of the SCM Bible Studies be for an adult?? I have done the Proverbs one, which I loved (may do that again), but would be willing to try another one.
