I use Math-U-See for my 7YO (he watches the DVDs with me) and my older son (age 11) has been using TT for about a year. We love TT because the entire math program is on the CDs and is completed on the computer.

HI there,

Thank you for your responses. My4Boys, thank you for sharing your experience with the Apologia books. Nebby and Erin.kate, I do understand also just letting us living life being an example of our worldview, but my husband and I are really, in the grand scheme of things, new believers. My husband never grew up in church and I did some, but wasn't really connected. It has only been about 5 years since we have really had a true relationship with the Lord. While we have grow by huge leaps and bounds, I still would like to make sure I am teaching my children well by having something I can go by in leading us in our thoughts of a biblical worldview. I am sure I could probably even learn a thing or two. :-)

So, if anyone has any suggestions, we would appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

As much as we loved Who Is God (Apologia) it was too dense for my girls (2nd and K). We're shelving that for a while. I concur with Nebby. That's the first and most important step ... your worldview will shine in your everyday, from there the rest is just icing on the cake. We find our worldview beliefs are naturally part of much of our materials ... TQ, AIG, etc. ... so aside from how we live, it's just there, organically.

This may not be what you want but my approach to teaching a biblical world view would just be . . .have a biblical world view. If you see the world in light of certain beliefs and let that show, I think your kids will pick up on it. It is a little artifial to me to have a curriculum for this. From what I have read of Charlotte Mason, I don't think she would separate this out as something to teach. She says all knowledge is from God, given by the Holy Spirit, and there is not religious and secular knowledge. So we don't need to try and add a religious element to things like math or even science. I think she would say less is more in this department.
