OK, folks, this is one of the biggies. We’ve been wracking our brains trying to figure out how you can see future assignments when they aren’t tied to any due dates. Part of the beauty of the CM Organizer is its huge flexibility that adjusts as you go along. So tomorrow’s assignments aren’t certain until today’s are checked off. However, we know how helpful it is to see a week or two week’s worth of assignments so you have an idea of what is coming and can think ahead. So we’re working on figuring out a way to give you a look into the future without sacrificing the flexibility for today. (Not an easy task!)
We’re working toward giving you a list of tentative assignments for the next week or however many days you specify. Now, these assignments will only be tentative for a couple of reasons: (1) you always have the option of last-minute changes, and (2) we don’t know how long you want to Work On an assignment before you Finish it. So as it stands now, we’re looking at simply showing you the next assignments listed under each resource and letting you print out that list and mark it up all you want to. It won’t be perfect but it should give you a starting point. You can also jot down your children’s work on that printout and then just enter it on your computer every few days if you would prefer not getting on your computer every day.
